What is an intimate wedding?
An intimate wedding is a day designed around you and your spouse in a way that is shared deeply and purposefully with those you love the most. Your intimate wedding day is meant not just to be experienced, but to be truly lived in with intention. Because you are with those closest to you, you can take the time to slow down throughout the day and enjoy the little moments that you will look back on and remember forever.
While I leave a small cushion for a guest count of up to 65 in my packages, an Intimate Wedding generally has approximately 50 or less guests, and a Microwedding can have fewer than 20 guests. If you have your favorite people in the world surrounding you, the value of your wedding day remains the same. This is a day built by and for you and those who will uplift and support and love you and your spouse in the most personal and profound way. It is also a day that should allow for enjoyment, presence and gratitude as you begin your life together.

In other words, it’s taking who you are as a couple, or as parents, and capturing it in a way that you can display in your home forever. Because when you look at them you aren’t going to see just a moment in time, you are going to see a moment in time with feeling and nostalgia and a timeless love that remains forever encapsulated in these intimate portraits.
It’s about the details of you. I’m paying attention and noticing your little interactions that happen between prompts, the nuances that make your love unique. Because the truth of your story is in the moments in between.
Documentary style is finding perfection in the imperfections. It’s full of movement and touching and admiration. Stealing touch of a hand and subtle facial expressions and big smiles. Kisses and cuddles, comfort and enjoyment.

Chrissy was the photographer for our wedding this past January, and she did a phenomenal job!! Ever since we met her and began planning for the wedding, she was super helpful, prepared, and happy to do her best to give us just the type of photography we wanted. She brought so much excited energy to the day of our wedding, and it was a joy to have her there with us; she is such a sweet person. So many of our guests commented on how great of a job she did getting in there for all of the best shots without being in the way or excessive. She got our photos back to us in a timely manner, and they looked better than we could have imagined! We are so grateful that we found Chrissy to be our wedding photographer and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

I reached out to Chrissy immediately after my now husband and I decided to elope. My husbands mom was ill and we knew we wanted her at our wedding so we eloped on early January. I had reached out to Chrissy as soon as December hit and she was beyond kind and understanding of our situation. She was so flexible and amazing as our month of planning suddenly turned into planning a small and intimate wedding in two weeks.
The day of our wedding, of course there was a massive snowstorm in New York where we were getting married. Chrissy took her own initiative and drove herself up to New York after already shooting a wedding that day & got herself an Airbnb, making sure she was there for our special day and asked for NO compensation for doing so.
Chrissy was amazing, never rushed us, and took her time. She was kind to all of our family and friends, and above all made every moment of our day was captured. The sweetest and most caring individual I have ever met. I am so grateful to have the photos from our day to hold onto forever.
I already know I will be using her to capture all of our future milestone events.
