I love love, and my favorite kind to document is the unfiltered, uninhibited love – and the best photos come from the people who truly love each other, and aren’t afraid to show it. It doesn't matter if this is by being super romantic and touchy-feely slow dancing and kissing, or if it means riding a carousel and smushing ice cream on each others faces. I love when couples get excited to have a date like reading a book in a field, or playing guitar for or whatever it is they love to do.
One of the first things I do with every client is find out what you enjoy doing the most, so that we can work it into our photoshoot in some way, whether that's a location or activity – reading a book, playing guitar, having a drink, or a date on the beach. Bringing a piece of yourselves to the shoot makes it so much fun and authentic.

I spent 13 years working with people during the hardest times of their lives.
I lived an entire career before making photography my life. My career was in the
healthcare industry and I spent over 13 years walking with people through the
hardest times of their lives. When I began my photography business, it was more
than a career change – it was changing my path to now walking with people
through the very best days of their lives. I have such a high level of appreciation that I now get to spend time with you on some of the best days of your life, rather than the worst. I have such an incredibly high level of appreciation for what I do now - there is so much joy in every day and every session for me, and I want to share that with everyone who comes my way.

I love to read. You can always catch me listening to an audiobook these days - usually of the crime/thriller genre. Same goes for podcasts and tv/movies - true crime documentaries all the way.

I have 2 rescue pups. They were both private rescues - one is a 12 y/o border collie named Jake, and the other is a 5 y/o Bichon shih tzu mix named Olive.

Halloween is my favorite holiday.

I am full blooded Italian and my family owns an Italian deli a few minutes from where I live - I have a HUGE family and, if you're also Italian, I bet if we really tried we would find someone in my family that you know

Given the choice between chocolate and peanut butter, I would choose peanut butter every time.

When I was pregnant, I knew my son was a boy before the doctors told us. I also knew he would deliver early, and he did! I LOVE being a boy mom! He is named after my grandmother :)
